The Greeting Farm 3rd Annual Blog HOP!!!

Wow! Welcome to the 3RD ANNUAL GREETING FARM BLOG HOP!!!

So I decided to use the Mermaid Anya (one of my ultimate favorites) for the the Holiday Theme project/card. So I used Ruby Red, Old Olive, an Wild Wasabi Carstock and some extra ribbon I had lying around. I made a gift box with a coordinating card. The box directions I got from Split Coast Stampers.

On both box and card I used a small holly stamp to add in her hair and used stickles everywhere on her hair and fin. The pearls in her hair was done by Liquid Pearls.

For the card, I used the half pearl accents in her hair and drew in bubbles that I added glassy effects to. I also added the glassy effects to her top. I also sprinkled some glitter over the bubbles and top before it dried. This project was so much fun and I hope you enjoyed them as well.

Why "Mutant"?

Why "mutant" scrapbooker might you ask? Well I am a huge comic book fan and the X-Men are my favorite! So my "mutant power" is my ability to patiently create art with paper and any other materials that I can get my hands on.

UPDATE:

As the days go by, other interests become prominent. Raising kids has made changes to me for the better. Sadly, I'm not as much into comics as I used to be. The industry seemed to change with the movies and I lost interest in picking up my comic books.

Other interests have come back and new ones have joined. With the birth of my boys, I remembered how much I loved dinosaurs and history! I've also gotten into the Outlander series, I read the book just before I started the series and I've found a remembered love of Scotland.
