Hello there my Peeps!! :o) Okay so you all already know I'm a dork so whatever! :) I'll be as dorky as I want. To start off with this blog, I'm going to quote a song I was listening today. I love this song, always have, always will, and it seems that no matter how good of a mood or bad of a mood I'm in, I will cry. Lame-O, I know. But for some reason, one of the last lines makes me cry. It's kind of a bittersweet emotion that comes over me and is way more pronounced now that my Grandma had such a hard time after this last stroke of hers. (Side note, the dog just farted and I need to leave the room for a moment....) Goodness, I'm in this serious talk right now and was ruined by that damn fart!

Letter to Me by Brad Paisley "exerpt":
"And oh, you got so much going for you, going right
But I know at 17 it's hard to see past Friday night
Tonight's the bonfire rally but you're staying home instead
Because if you fail algebra, mom and dad will kill you dead *but*
Trust me you'll squeak by and get a C
And you're still around to write this letter to me.

You've got so much *up* ahead
You'll make new friends, you should see your kids and wife
And I'd end by saying have no fear
These are nowhere near the best years of your life.
I guess I'll see you in the mirror When you're a grown man
P.S. go hug Aunt Rita every chance you can."

Okay, so now that I've had my little piece for tonight, here are some pictures of my latest card designs. I will try and list as many of the descriptions as I can, but I'm only on a 15 minute break now so we'll see how much time will let me get this done.

The Top Card is my Fruitty Cards. They are available by special order if you'd like. The example is the Mandarin Orange. I can do, Lemon Pie, Strawberry Pie, Cherry Pie, Apple Pie, Grape Pie... So If you're interested drop me an email.

The one to the right here with the Classic Truck is a Faux Window design card. Tricky to explain so i'm not going too.. :) To me, the hardest card to design is for men. I don't want them to be too frilly and cutesy...which is hard to do for me right now. But I'm working on it.

This Sympathy card design was Inspired by one of MaiLi's designs. I used this design on a few different sympathy cards - with flowers on them instead of the butterfly. With this particular example I wanted to use the Butterfly since the recipient loves butterfly's. And too me, there is significance with butterfly's and someone passing away. But I'll leave that up to you to add your own meaning. Actually, there are some Native American influence there with the Butterfly as well. But I don't have time to quote that now. From what I remember though, some cultures believe that a butterfly is the spirit of the one you lost.

The card below Called "Riley" was for a co-worker who had to take her doggie to the hospital for some major emergency work so, wanting to use an idea I had floating in my head, here is the card. Well, that is all for now. I have to get back to working on the Newsletter. Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog.
