I made a "Margarita" Happy Birthday Card using the Cheers Kaylee digi stamp, colored with copics, for a birthday card for my friend. I used Stampin Up cardstock with a loose piece of Margarita paper I got from my local scrapbook store (I don't have the name) and used the scallop border punch. Touched it up with some stickles and liquid pearls after glassy effects on the glasses and drink. The birthday stamp was one I got out of the dollar bin at Michaels. The limes were from the Stampin Up set that I can't remember the name at the moment. :) I loved how this one turned out!

S.O.G. Bookmarks!
So my cousins are in town and I wanted to make them a little something and as they love to read I decided to make some bookmarks. I used the Reading Mae and Tropical Mae for these two and the old Stampin Up Hostess set Delight in Life for the flowers with Tropical Mae. I used scrap papers from my stash so I'm not sure where they came from but most likely stampin up. I used copics to color both girls. I really have a hard time coloring the faces. I am still trying to learn how to color the hair better but part of my problem is I only have a few copics. Hopefully when I save enough to get some more I can actually shade better. But we'll see. Enjoy!

The Greeting Farm Gift Set
Hi Bloggers!
So I was asked to make a card set using mostly Cheeky Beach from The Greeting Farm. So I sat down and got to work. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how much I ended up liking the designs! :) Just to change it up a bit I also used the Cheeky Howdy and Sitting Lovely stamps. I also ended up using a mix of stamps and paper from Stampin Up, DeNami Designs, Some Odd Girl, and Stamps by Judith. I have been on a kick lately of using my scraps rather than making more scraps for cards and that has been a fun challenge in itself. As I finished late last night I haven't gotten a good lighted picture but incase I don't get that chance here is a slight "preview." My "preview" was done by the Camera+ app to fade the colors. So hopefully you will see them in full color when the time comes, as I will also post a picture of the box that they will be in.

No Line Coloring
So I was hopping around and finally found a tutorial on "no line coloring" here at the Whiff of Joy website. YAY! :) So I was going to use this technique for the layout for this month's Sketch Challenge at Some Odd Girl, but ended up liking it centered more for this color job. Either way though, I stamped the Under the Sea Mae in Sky Blue (that was the lightest color I had) then used a combination of copics and stampin up markers to color her in. I then masked her by stamping her on a large post-it note and cut out and stuck to my colored image. I then used a dauber to color the sea all around her. I used the waves from the Beach Day Buddies stamp set.
After, I did the same no line technique to the shell and the crab. Stamped the sentiment (also from Beach Day Buddies) on the ribbon and pieced together with some sand colored scraps on a blue textured cardstock that was in my scrap stash. I then used Liquid Pearls to accent the border and her shell in her hair. (I <3 Liquid Pearls!)
Enjoy!
