He{aRt} Journaling Week 10
Okay, so we are now at Week 10 of The Greating Farm's He{Art} Journaling Class. I was not sure what to do for this theme, "Torn Between" but while on the way back from the river, looking at the mountains and their different colors being farther away and all, really looked so beautiful that I felt like tearing paper to make the mountains. It didn't really come out like I wanted specially since I could only successfully use 2 colors for the mountains. So after I was done gluing I said to myself, what the heck, and then sprayed Perfect Pearls all over it thinking that it would at least give it something else. I woke up the next morning an most of my mountains had curled! I completely forgot about that when using the Perfect Pearls, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked what it did t to the page. The pictures never do it complete justice but this is what the final piece ended up as. I hope you enjoy it! Thanks in advance for any Comments. Have a wonderful Weekend!!

He{Art} Journal Week 9
Hello! I haven't had a chance to really work on any cards lately but I will post one as soon as I can. Actually the few cards I have been making are for friends that I don't want them to see them yet, but they are gorgeous cards and it will be a treat to share them.
Anyway, onto the Week 9 Heart Journaling page.
So this week was "Cut and Paste" - I have a hard time when I am trying to do something more abstract rather than structured. Somehow I didn't process the complete directions where it was to cut a face and "draw" the body, my version ended up being to "draw" the body with 6 different magazine clippings. So there ya have it. That is my version. The one with Robert and Me was just not working out but I had already cut up a picture to add our heads to the romantic couple on the horses. My head just would not fit on right so I guess what that means is my head will never fit properly on the body of a skinny woman!! LOL! :)
Anyway, I would be interested to hear what people get from the page with the girl and her two admirers. What does that page mean to you?

Heart Journaling Week 8
Hi! So this is week 8's challenge, the Power of One. Using one word. I was going to cut or stamp out individual words but I ended up seeing the Tinkerbell Cricut cartridge I bought and have RARELY used and it had "Unique" on it. That word is often used to describe me and I love the word. It has such a nice sound to it. So, keeping up with the cartridge theme, I cut out some Tinkerbell shadows and added her on it. I have recently been listening to "Inkheart" and Tinkerbell was a character in the book towards the end, Meggie reads her out of Peter Pan. And just the thought of having Tinkerbell fly around my room was a nice feeling. So I decided then and there that I would never stop believing in fairies. :) Enjoy!

Tasty Treats Blog Hop!
Hello! My name is Lani and I love making cards! In fact, anything craft related I find interesting. I love the DeNami Stamps and first saw them at a Stamp Convention.
When I saw the opportunity to participate in the Tasty Treats Blog Hop I just had to try it out! So I used the Sweet Thoughts of You stamp along with the strawberry stamp and the grapes. I love grapes so I wanted to try a couple themes.
This first card is made with some blue cardstock I have had for awhile and I don't remember where I got it. I went with a "Strawberry Dessert" for the theme since that sounded delicious. I used some generic pink ribbon and scraps of Stampin Up patterned paper that I thought worked perfectly. The second was a grape theme since I love grapes and don't see many desserts made with them. The colors are Stampin Up using Perfect Plum and Crushed Concord along with a scrap of a bright purple that I don't know where it was from. Both cards have stickles added to them and some bling. :)
The next blog after mine is:
Kristy Smith at http://kbsmith34.blogspot.com.
I haven't seen her Tasty Treats blog yet but she does some adorable work!!
And if for some reason you got out of sequence of the blog hop, you missed a bunch of blogs! The one before me is: Pattie Goldman http://pattie-g.blogspot.com/. Her work is adorable as well!
And to start at the beginning, please click this link to visit the DeNami Blog at www.denami.blogspot.com to start the hop! Thank you so much in advance for your comments! Feel free to add me to your blog reader or follow me if you would like. Now, I'm going to get me some dessert to savor!! And a BIG thanks to DeNami for starting an awesome hop!!!
